Counselor - Deerfield Centers for Addictions Treatment (DCAT)
SUMMARY
The DCAT Therapist will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the treatment of all their clients which may include I.O.P., Individual, Group and/or family therapy along with case management.
Deerfield Centers for Addictions Treatment (DCAT) our licensed outpatient treatment program has been dedicated to helping individuals suffering with substance abuse and addiction issues. Services offered include: Assessments, one-on-one outpatient therapy, group therapy, an intensive outpatient program, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), certified recovery services, and support groups.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor's degree with a CAAC, CADC or CAADC, or at least 1 year of experience in direct patient care is preferred.
2. Master's Degree in health related field preferred.
3. Training and experience in individual, group, and family therapy modalities.
4. Understanding of addiction and recovery; ability to assess addictions and related problems.
